The belief of sales, marketing, and advertising professionals that the Millennial demographic represents a completely unique group of consumers and as such, entirely new approaches must be adopted. Even if the product you are trying to sell is intended for a completely different demographic, such as Depends Adult diapers.

I tried to explain to the Creative Director that the hipster didn't represent our customer demographic, but she's got a bad case of millennialitis.

Millennialitis

A mental disease that causes people born between 1981 and 2001 to believe that they are the smartest, coolest, and most entitled group of people that have ever lived. The disease is usually cured by inevitable doses of reality and eventual maturity.

Jason left a good job because he wanted to be on television and have his own TV reality show about his life. He is suffering from millennialitis.

Millennieitis

The inflammation of a Millennial. The presence of any discomfort or pain that is unwanted in someone feeling entitled to life without pain. Pain can manifest as physical symptoms or emotional distress, brought on by such conditions as the "common cold" or a "differing opinion". Typically found within the Millennia Generation, this dangerous condition is also contagious to non-Millennials feeling similarly entitled, and can be referred to "Millennieitis by Poxy".

Michael, a 28 year old man-boy, suffered from a stuffy nose requiring his mother to bring him to the emergency department.

"Is it serious?" mom asks.
"No, its millennieitis"
