Millennial is an identity given to a broadly and vaguely defined group of people. There are two wings of "Millennial" that are often at odds with each other: Generation Y (people born between 1981-1991) and Generation Z (born between 1991-2001). People of Generation Y often have characteristics similar to Generation X, which is why Generation Z will confuse Generation Y with Generation X and then claim to be the generation that represents "MIllennial," when in fact, birth years for Millennial range from about 1981-2001, just as the birth-years for Baby Boomers ranged from 1946-1964.
Both Generation Y and Generation Z can be called "Millennials," with the primary difference between the two being technology. Generation Y grew-up on personal computers, cell phones, and video game systems, while Generation Z has grown up on tablets, smartphones, and apps. Yet, the common ground between both generations is that both have been transforming and altering communication and identity--not just in the United States but globally.
Generically known as a worthless asshole. But more precisely, a prick is an incessantly annoying or obnoxious person who escalates their behavior the more they are ignored.
Most pricks need to relax.
Aloof means "at a distance," and not close. Shyness is often the result of being aloof. An aloof person usually needs tunnel vision for the tranquility and happiness to block out and ignore distractions that undermine his or her concentration. Yet, there are valid reasons to be aloof: such as, studying, work, or to maintain the structure of control within an organization or industry by filtering out and blocking unwanted contact.
The word aloof is often bandied about as a negative label as a way to attack an unwanted person by making them feel that it is his or her fault for being unwanted. An aloof person is likely to be more "things-oriented," rather than "people-oriented," but that is not proof that an aloof person is not equally capable of socializing--just not equally interested in doing so because people don't innovate or get rich by being the life of a party.
Roasting someone means that you know how to be tactfully mean (snarky) without being mean-spirited in poking fun at someone, teasing, ruthlessly ridiculing, trash talking, and even mocking them.
Roasting people that you know is usually a bad idea because people will believe that there is truth in every joke and might laugh in the moment but remember nothing but bitterness, which is why roasting should be reserved for when a person truly deserves it.
A groupie is someone that sleeps with a celebrity, usually a rockstar, and a groupie is usually a girl.
A groupie is someone who gets to be a fan rather than just a follower, while other people earn their stripe as a fan through loyalty without creepiness.
An asshole likes to make stuff up, deny seemingly small details, or randomly change their stories and narratives, because he or she thinks that the other person: just doesn't get it; is not allowed to understand or define the behavior of the asshole because the asshole is a victim; or because the other person can't prove what it is the asshole is doing.
Most assholes are emotionally, physically, mentally, or sexually abusive.
A douche is a miserable or insufferable piece of shit; typically someone of the upper middle class or upper class who likes to piss on people that are viewed as inferior.
That douche over there went to an Ivy League school, primarily because his parents had money and hired servants to do all his bitch work so that he could study all day and graduate Magna Cum Laude and then act like his education is no big deal when he also knows that everybody wants it and he needs it to be where he is.
