Like for a like

A Facebook status update frequently seen when someone is extremely bored, and involves them replying to any likes on the post by typing a positive comment on that person's wall. It can become quite forced when the person who likes the post isn't well liked or well known by the poster of the status update. It also helps boost the ego of people who like the post as they are always complimented.
Alvin: Like for a like

Jason likes the post.
Alvin posts on Jason's wall: I've known you for ages and we've been on the same soccer team together.

like for a name

Typically used on Facebook, you or another person has this as their status. When someone likes it the status writer gives them a name in private messages and the name receiver must give the name a ho in the status comments, without saying the name.

The aim of the game is for the status writer to read bitchy comments that only he/she knows who it is.
Z got X for like for a name and she said "used to fancy him, kind of a prick" but Y put up the status so only she knows that it's about X

I'd just like to interject for a moment

A classic copy-pasta often attributed to rms but contains parts that he denied being from him. It's best used whenever you see a debate over the correct format of Linux and GNU/Linux.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux,
is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux.
Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component
of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell
utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.

Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day,
without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU
which is widely used today is often called "Linux", and many of its users are
not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project.

There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a
part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system
that allocates the machine's resources to the other programs that you run.
The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself;
it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is
normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system
is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called "Linux"
distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.
