In cooking, used when a pot or pan containing food has finished cooking, but is still being heated. Usually said aloud by a Cook or Chef to avoid food from burning.

"Cooking timer's off. Hotpot hotpot!"
"What finished?"
"Pasta"s done take it off the heat and plate it before it burns!"
