The result of hardening ones heart against a relentless barrage of traumatic and unexpected setbacks, heartaches, and soul crushing revelations to one's life, sense of self, and perception of one's status with friends family and community. The heart pumps like a concrete mixer, churning one's blood into heartcrete, able to harden like stone to keep one from cracking up.
