An individual who bangs their head in and up and down motion to a usual kick and snare pattern. Usually to the music genres of Dubstep and Drum & Bass.
I went to a music festival where an artist named Excision performed and there were so many headbangers.

To thrust your head forward extremely fast then retract it back. Headbanging is often done at concerts like Skrillex or virtual riot tours. It can cause permanent brain damage and is done either by the performer the fans or both.
