American Wild West slang for having sex with a girl. Literally to poke her in the vagina with your penis.

Other forms- To have a poke, having a poke, poke her good, give her a poke, give her a real good poke, giving her a poke

For example, from the 2011 Kiwi Western Black Comedy "Good For Nothing", a cowboy kidnaps a girl.

Girl- "And just what do you intend to do with me?!"
Guy- "Give you a poke!"

you would have sex with a particular girl if the tv was broken. Can also mean she is an average looking girl . Usallay said in a joking manner.
