Far Sight

When a male/female looks attractive from a far distance. Whether or not the male/female still looks attractive up close is irrelevant.

Person A, "Dude, check out that girl across the gym.. she's looks great!" Person B, "Ah, yeah she has some far sight, but up close she is pretty nasty looking."

Love at far sight, though similar to 'love at first sight' differs in that the initial attraction dies once its object comes into proper view.

From across the room I saw him standing by the bar. He looked at me, and I looked at him, and it happened. You could feel it.

It was only when he holled me over to buy me a drink that I realised that it was less crush and more crash. I guess you'd call it love at far sight.
