the act of calling/naming a girl that just by you. basically a girl that is out of your league. it's like whitsling but with your manfriends.

guy one: (girl passes by) oh fauk, dibs
guy two: aw man
guy one: (turns around for a moment)
guy two: (goes in for the steal) making out
guy one: i guess guy two doesn't obey by the dibs rule

International rule of Dibs 

A basic rule of humanity that separates us from animals. One has the rights to an object just by saying "dibs". Conterary to popular belief, senority is not a counter to the I.R.D. There are different branches of I.R.D. including the rule of shotgun.
