DC The Don

DC The Don, born Donovan Christian in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has emerged as one of the most exciting voices in hip-hop. Leveraging platforms like SoundCloud and YouTube, his unique blend of modern trap, punk, and emotionally charged melodies helped him quickly gain a following. His breakout project, Come As You Are (2018), solidified his reputation as a fresh voice in the underground scene. DC’s ability to seamlessly mix trap and alternative rock sets him apart from his peers. His vocal versatility—from gritty, aggressive flows to smooth, melodic ones—allows him to explore a wide range of emotions. Lyrically, he delves into personal struggles, mental health, and emotional vulnerability, which resonate deeply with his audience.

2020’s RAGS 2 RICHES marked a turning point, featuring tracks like "Thrusting" that fused trap beats with punk energy. Collaborations with major artists like Lil Uzi Vert helped propel him into the mainstream. DC's genre-blending style has inspired others to experiment with new sounds, expanding the possibilities of hip-hop.

As DC continues to evolve, he remains committed to authenticity in a world driven by trends. His raw energy, emotional depth, and willingness to push boundaries position him as a defining figure in the future of hip-hop.

abandonware

n. software that is no longer sold or supported by the original publisher / developer, often found as free downloads on the internet because it cannot be obtained elsewhere. Not legal, but often seen as morally acceptable because the company that made it is no longer selling the title, nor releasing it as freeware, therefore abandonware is "keeping the game alive", so to speak.
Doom II is not abandonware because id still sells it, while The Incredible Machine is not sold, therefore is abandonware.
