The hip world of hustlers, drug addicts, jazz musicians, cab drivers, pimps, prostitutes, night people, drifters, grifters, and skidders.

After doing time in prison I decided to abandon living in the cool world.

In my youth I would go to all the jazz clubs and smoke reefers with the musicians. I was living in the cool world.
