1. An individual that actively shames a person for not putting away their shopping cart after use. (I.e. not using the cart corral area, using parking spaces/splitting spaces, or using handicapped areas)

2. An individual that calmly and clearly attempts to motivate an individual to take on personal responsibility of returning their shopping cart. If the person doesn't move the cart, they may receive a bumper magnet with a hotline number, providing information in shopping cart safety and responsibility.

3. "Not a douche bag"
1. A cart narc called him out, so he walked his cart responsibly to the cart corral area.

2. A cart narc is trained in evasive and de-escalation techniques.

3. "Cart narcs are by definition not douche bags."

Cart Narc 

1- An individual who actively pretends to shame someone for not returning a cart, but is actually only doing it as a publicity stunt for video content that is circulated on numerous social media sites for monetary gain.

2- An individual who will persistently chase down a victim multiple times to throw a magnet onto their vehicle to provoke a response for video content.
That Cart Narc guy is harassing that poor handicapped woman.
