Used by the Rugby League legend Reg Reagan (nephew to Ronald Reagan) and is a regular character on The NRL Footy Show.

Bring back the biff 

A reference to the unwarranted removal of section 59 of the New Zealand Crimes Act, making it illegal to smack your children. Bring back the biff refers to many kiwi mums and dads lamenting the removal of their right to discipline their children.

church hurt 

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
