To transform something awesome and interesting into a more boring version of itself.

I wrote a really creative paper on Shakespeare and Transformers, but my professor said it was unacceptable, so I had to boringify it to meet lame school standards, and got an A.

borgify 

To forcefully subsume something into a larger system or whole, with blatant disregard for the individuality of the thing to be subsumed. Inspired by the Borg, a fictional civilization of cyborgs in the Star Trek universe who, although composed of billions of individual bodies and machines, share a single conciousness. The Borg assimilate other species and cultures, adapting their biological and technological distinctiveness to service the Borg, with the declaration that "resistance is futile."

When Gretchen read the memo from headquarters instructing all branch managers to begin using the new timekeeping system at the beginning of the new fiscal year, she knew her team would really resent another attempt to borgify operations.

Boringist

The most boring of all people. The one who makes you want to pluck out your arm hairs one by one to help keep you awake. Boringist people are not offended if you call them boringist cos they are far to boring to care. The boringist's idea of excitement is watching grass grow.

Captkirk: Oh My God - did you see that

Captkirk: That blade of grass over there just grew 1mm over the past 4 hours

boringitis 

A common ailment in the 20-30 age range, often seen in concert with the debilitating disease called "work". Beer is often taken to cure the problem, however more resilient cases have been known to be treated with Vodka and/or other harder drugs.
