An Attention shipper is a person in a fandom who doesn't personally ship two characters, but makes fanart or stories about them for recognition or because the ship is popular within the Fandom. Attention shipping might be used in commissions or in general art they make. Attention shipping could also be used in pieces that ship two characters in a satire way.
