Doing “a jay” is being super slow , slower than a snail 🐌, doing a jay is the slowest form of any movement both within the physical and mental categories.

When someone is “doing a jay” they are often lagging in real time with their thought process being back in the 1980’s. Unfortunately the only way to fix yourself from “doing a jay” is finding something sharp to jump on or if your close to a highway finding oncoming traffic to say hello to by walking towards it would be sufficient.
