The weather phenomenon around Wapasu Lake that alters well defined and predictable precipitation-laden weather patterns heading straight towards the small lakeside community, only to mysteriously vanish and reappear on the opposing and further side of the original direction of travel.

The extreme rainfall event heading straight towards the lake was just obliterated by the WapasuVortex.
