Waldemar syndrome is a psychological phenomenon in which a person turns a rather trivial task into a seemingly impossible challenge. Most likely caused by the fear of not controlling all the implied factors in a decision process.
The family holiday was severely delayed due to the father suffering from the Waldemar syndrome.
