A velociraptor is not what you are generally told as being tall and scaly they were feathered all over. also they are around, 1.6 FT tall. they also did not live in a park on a fictional island. they generally hunted prey species such as little lizards small, mammals, eggs, and baby dinosaurs. they are also a dromeosaurid which consists of many species including velociraptors. they also lived around 75 million years ago then they went extinct for good but their lineage continues today in birds.

A species of animal that roamed all the way back in the Cretaceous Era. Their bodies were only 6-ft long and around 3-ft tall, but I’m leaning more towards Michael Crichton’s and Steven Spielberg’s raptors. These were intelligent pack hunters, able to communicate with each other via vocal commands like a bark or a trill. They had a long sharp dagger of a claw on their middle toe that they used to pry their catch open.
Alan: “Remember, you’re still alive when they (velociraptors) start to eat you.”

An individual of either sex who enjoys sexual roleplay as a dinosaur.
Person 1: Oh yeah, watch me lay my eggs. Now you go and hunt some mid-sized mammals for us to eat while I protect the nest from opportunistic egg thieves.
Person 2: Ugh, I wish you'd told me you were a velociraptor before I brought you home.

Short for Jurassic Park Velociraptor, this is either a Velociraptor that is actual from JP or one clearly more based on JP than anything science has said. Notable features of most JP Velociraptors include having few or no feathers, pronated hands, being bizarrely large for Velociraptor, slit crocodilian eyes, and an inaccurate skull shape.
"I got really excited for this new dinosaur movie that got announced but all the velociraptors were JP velociraptors," "Aw, that sucks,"
