Uppa Ra

Northern Irish and Irish slang for, "up the ra". (The 'ra' being the IRA, a nationalist paramilitary group based in Northern Ireland. This is used as an ironic joke amongst Northern Ireland residents. As the IRA committed many acts of violence during the 'troubles' in Northern Ireland, starting in the late 1960's and ending around 2000.

And after that, the dirty fenian went and said 'uppa ra!'

When a golfer wakes up at 4am ready, anxious and excited for a 9am tee time.

Erik awoke upparanxcited to stripe drives, avoid hazards, make some pars and hopefully drain a birdie putt.
