Unnoble Norman 

When somebody intends to do something nice for you, like say holding an elevator or door, only to let go at the last minute making you look like a total twat!

Some guy snatched my purse today then this lovelly man tackled him to the ground and retrieved it. I was about to thank him when he took out my wallet and threw my purse in the bin, what an Unnoble Norman.
