An arbitrary grouping of letters that don't form an existing English word and are not derived from any word but could reasonably be thought to be one.

Trome will be a trome until it is accepted into the English language.

Ptzye is not a trome as it doesn't look like it is a real word.

Fantasticazamous is not a trome as it is derived from a real English word (Fantastic).

Toomeyed 

When a politician runs for office on the premise that he has principles and will defend a particular position, but abandons those principles during his first term, the people who voted for him have been "Toomeyed".

The Jr. Senator from PA ran in 2010 as a staunch defender of the 2nd amendment, assumed office in 2011, and in 2013 Toomeyed the voters by joining with with the likes of Chuck Schumer and Dianne Feinstein in a "Yes" vote for cloture on S 649.
