Trickledown Syndrome

A condition experienced by middle class conservative voters who enthusiastically support right wing political policies that enrich the wealthy under the belief that ordinary people will benefit too despite repeated evidence that the promised benefits always fail to materialize, à la Reagan’s Trickle Down Economics or Trump’s Tariffs.

Those afflicted by this condition are also known to defend the interests of billionaires and large corporations even when doing so conflicts with their own financial wellbeing.

Gary use to be such a rational person, but after years of watching FOX News and Newsmax he now has full blown Trickledown Syndrome
