Switchology

Avaition term used explain repair action that involves adjusting a switch that was in the O.F.F. or OFF position. Many pilots confuse this switch position with the "Official" mode of operation.
Discrepancy: IFF inop in OFF mode
Repair Action: Switchology, IFF worked fine in ON mode

(where one person is talking to another about the amount of household income-related educational maintenance allowance they receive, and the person's father works in the switch business - therefore, an explosion in the switch market, or switchboom, would mean that they would receive more income and therefore less benefit)

a common asphalt plant excuse related to an inferior sample of asphalt.
Ah, don't worry playboy, that sample is bad because it was a switchover load.

Switchfoot 

As applies to Surfing, Skateboarding, Snowboarding, and all board sports:
1. The quality of being able to board, skate or surf with either Goofy Foot (Right foot leading) or Left foot leading.
2. An individual who posseses the aforementioned quality.

2. Joe was a switchfoot surfer.
