State of being friends for only appearance and other social events i.e. Little 500 Weekend or Weekly lunches
Not to be confused with the antonym :Friends
Duties-
-No phone calls
-Only waving when necessary
-Sitting together ONLY when
mutual friends are present
-Minimal text messaging
-Having alternate schedules
-Non-acknowledgment at social events, parties, movie nights, study groups, probates, malls, kiosk, etc.
-Always provide proof and reason for your "Surface-necessity
Friendship"
Boy: We're just Surface Friends, but if
you're not doing any thing wanna go to
the doctor with me?
Girl:
No thanks, because we're just "surface friends" and thats over stepping my SF responsibilities
Boy:Trust! you were the last person I asked
Girl: Of-course because we're just Surface Friends
