Shadowblock

(verb) to block someone from social media and subsequently have a friend or fake account add/follow them; the purpose of shadowblocking is so you can keep tabs on their life but they can't do the same.

"My ex isn't even on social media anymore; why is his best friend adding me on facebook?"
"He's probably shadowblocking you"
