Self trolling
A form of self love where you troll and shame yourself, publicly or anonymously, to release associated rumination and negative thoughts which previously caused you distress. Often done to improve mental health, the release shuts down any chance of being trolled by others and takes away the troll’s power or control before it happens.
From a trauma informed perspective, trolling usually comes as a result of a troll projecting onto others about things they haven’t dealt with in their own life.

That awesome woman was self trolling. She posted online about things that were important to her yet, identified her own shame about personally being a troll to achieve a peaceful mind. After a while she noticed the thoughts and rumination about the subject had quietened in her mind, which led to post traumatic growth.
