Schrödinger's bigot

Someone who is both an anti-bigot and bigot simultaneously.
Schrödinger's bigot (noun):
"I really don't understand those people, they generalise what whole groups of people are like just because they don't understand them."

Schrödinger’s Bigot

An individual who is either trying to be funny or trying to be offensive, depending on the reaction of the audience.

“Until the reaction of the listener is observed, the joke was simultaneously offensive and just a joke”
Friend 1: “Hey did you hear Jake’s latest line?”
Friend 2: “I can never tell if he’s being serious or not
Friend 1: “He’s a real Schrödinger’s Bigot”

Shrodinger's Bigot

A person that constantly makes bigoted remarks & comments and then decides whether they were joking or not based on the replies they get. When they inevitably cross the line they blame trauma, the way they were raised, their neurodivergence and/or the actual victim - They will do everything except take accountability unless the offense is frivolous optics & requires no true change on their part. Then they'll gaslight & manipulate the victim for being upset.
Shrodinger's Bigots are obsessed with making sure everyone views them as a good person - Grade A abuser & asshole
Raven: *Watching offensive videos & laughing at a black person being compared to a monkey*
Sorra: That's really racist & not funny-
Raven: I'm joking about it so that I don't feel bad, I actually hate white people because my dad is a racist prick, I'm autistic
Sorra: You should probably go to therapy to get that worked through, jokes like that make this relationship really uncomfortable
Raven: I'm very introspective, I spend a lot of time thinking about why I do what I do so that I can understand myself. I'm not going to therapy just so they can tell me what I already know. I can't afford therapy.
Sorra: Ok then Shrodinger's bigot-
