The name used in a Fish and Chip shop for an item with Chips (fries). The chips part means Supper.
It is mainly used in West Scotland but can be used Scotland Wide except around the English border regions

Can I have a Fish Supper or Smoked Sausage supper.

This translates to Can I have Fish and Chips or Smokes sausage and Chips.
