south high marathon dance, which takes place in south glens falls new york. this dance has taken place for 77 years and first raised 1500 dollars. in 2010 the dance raised over 283,000 dollars for 24 recipients in the local small town. they dance for 28 hours straight, and is the best high school marathon dance in the country. "WE ARE THE BULLDOGS AND THE BULLDOGS ARE GREAT!"

SHMD is the South High marathon dance that takes place in South Glens Falls, NY. Dancers from the school raise money and dance for 28 hours. They held their 42nd one in 2019 raising $837,859.97 for 39 recipients.
