When film franchises pussy out and go for a PG-13 rating (12A in the UK), more recent examples include Die Hard 4 & 5 and The Expendables 3. Therefore there's none of the harsh language and violence from the earlier films and therefore they tend to suck ass by comparison.

"Dear god, its all gone a bit Robocop 3" or "Bad Boys 3? That's going to go all Robocop 3"
