Ramblin' man

A man who often has a strong affinity for women but is too much of a restless soul to settle down; therefore, he often breaks hearts. His own as much as the women he is with.
Waylon Jennings - I'm a Ramblin' Man.
You're standin' too close to the flame. Once I mess with your mind, Your little heart won't beat the same. Lord, I'm a ramblin' man, Don't mess around with any ol' ramblin' man.

Led Zeppelin - Ramble On.
Got no time to for spreadin' roots. The time has come to be gone. And tho' our health we drank a thousand times. It's time to Ramble on

Allman Brothers Band - Ramblin' Man
Lord, I was born a ramblin' man. Tryin' to make a livin' and doin' the best I can. And when it's time for leavin'. I hope you'll understand. That I was born a ramblin' man.

ramblin' man

As in the song "Ramblin' Man" from the legendary Allman Brothers band, it is one who is always on the move, travelling constantly, wherever life may take him.
He's here today and gone tomorrow; a real ramblin' man.

1) Yea, Bob's a great guy but he's a Ramblin' Man, so expect him to up and leave one day with little notice.

2) Bob is gone. He left last night after he balled me. What are you gonna do? He's a Ramblin' Man.

i'm a ramblin' man

I'm a ramblin' man refers to the process of ending a sentence with a flourish, generally after a long, non-sensical rant or after a moment of indecision. it can also be used as a greeting amongst close friends. started in bloomington, indiana, this phrase alludes to Lemon Jelly's song "Ramblin' Man".
"Hey Bob, where do you want to eat tonight?"
"I dunno. I'm a ramblin' man."

rambling man

He never seems to settle down because he is a rambling man .
The word 'flag' as pronounced by people with thick Belfast accents. The term is a perfect encapsulation of the disproportionate and overblown reaction to the removal of the Union Jack (as in 'de fleg') from above City Hall in Belfast. Where previously it had flown for 365 days per year, it is now flown on 17 designated days of the year - in line with many other British cities.

The event caused a portion of the Protestant community ('fleggers') to make international pricks of themselves as they proceeded to wreck the fucking place, claiming it was another erosion of a 'British' identity they perceive to have been under attack since the horrifying spectre of equality reared its head in Northern Ireland.

The word 'fleg' - and indeed 'fleggers' - fittingly describes a section of humanity unconcerned with knowledge, reality or the vagaries of the English language. Like America's tea-baggers they are ruled by instinct, fear and paranoia with a side dish of rampant bigotry and startling ignorance of the world around them.
"Wat de fuck like! The taigs got de fleg took down! Let's wreck de fuckin place! No surrender!"

"De fleg has been took down! Before ye know it there'll be a united Ireland! Attack Short Strand! God Save The Queen!"
