1: (sports, general) A massive attack, moving many players up on the opposing team's court.
2: (icehockey) When one team is playing with a player more than the opposing team because of penalties.
3: (politics) The threat or use of power (military, economical etc) as coercion.
4: (rpg) Hoarding xp and money. Often to the extend of ruining the gameplay for other players.

1: "By an impressive show of power play LA overran the Ny defence."
2: "The Dynamoes had 5 minutes of effective power play, but still couldnt score."
3: "Eritrea gave in to the US power play and signed the treaty."
4: "I hate that Ü83R-Paladin character, always power playing instead of helping out with the quests."

1)When a person tells you no or tells you do to something so you can aquire something that they have complete control over.Most people who do this are over zealious bastards who need a life.

2)In a hockey game when one team has more players out on the ice due to the opposing team having a penalty.

1)MY step mother tried to make me and my sis touch our noses so we can get a ride back to the hotel.(we almost walked and she didn't care if we did at 2:00am)

2)Whenever the other team gets a penalty we put out our power line in hockey.(even though we have the best players in the league our team sucks lol)

Power Play

When you get drunk or high at a time that is extremely early, such as 10:30am. However, in order to be a true power play it must be an extremely chill experience. You must feel as if you have less defenders preventing you from completing the goal of your day. The sensation of a power play is similar to, but not exactly the same as if you are given extra time in your day.

"Dude, I am really fucked up right now."
"What the fuck time is it."

"Like 10:00 in the morning, I am on a power play, gotta clean my room and get my hair cut. Today is going to be SICK!"
