Generally, it is assumed such apparel is of an urban nature, such as Jordans, Nike Air Force Ones, Nike Air Max, and even many varieties of Adidas sported by Hip Hop acts of the late 1980s and early 1990s. In special circumstances, an urban gentleman with a pension for more formal foot attire may be considered a Sneaker Pimp, but only if his collection also includes one or more of the above-mentioned varieties as well.
