A slang term for the act of committing suicide by use of a noose or rope around the neck. Please consider not using this word. In many situations it is a form of cyberbullying. In other uses, it normalises suicide and the rate of youth suicide is so high. If you have been told to neck rope, please block that person and/or report them to the the site you are using.

Neck Rope Jump 

The act of fastening a rope, usually in a noose configuration, around one's neck from an elevated plane. They then proceed to jump, causing their entire body weight to be supported by the rope around their neck, crushing their windpipe and suffocating them. If done with enough force, and if the mass of the subject is high enough, the subjects neck will snap.
