Modern hippie

A person that do what they want, wear what they want and say how they feel. They promote peace and love, and they are the most chilled people & they don't let anything bother them. Not all hippies do drugs and have low hygiene. They love nature and animals and 99% of them are vegans. They refuse to eat animals and anything coming from animals.

I admire that she is a modern hippie, so loving and peaceful.

modern hippie

a person of modern times who rejects established institutions and values and seeks spontaneity and escapism, direct personal relations expressing love and happiness, and an expanded consciousness. they often express their lifestyle externally by wearing casual, folksy clothing, such as: beads, headbands, tie dye, leather, used garments, goes barefoot often, etc.
a modern day hippie can, but is not expected to: go live in the woods for months or years at a time, not shower- or shave- for weeks on end, have long hair, smoke 10 Ibs. of weed every day, trip on LSD on a regular basis, or have sex with every friend they know.

She promotes peace, love, and happiness; wears her hand- made shoes and carries around her home- made purse and her favourite shirt is tie dyed and she's had it since fourth grade: she is your modern hippie.

Modern Day Hippie 

a person knowledgable of the 60's and 70's and shares those values today. This person can take part in being a vegitarian or vegan, listening to music that envolves struggle or uplifting rhythms in times of struggle, respecting all creatures in whatever religion, believing in rastafarian religion, standing up for what's right, and always keeping the peace.

Dude, you're like a modern day hippie or something.

Modern Flexible Hippie (MFH) 

A more modern branch of the group "Hippie". This branch has a more modern view and taste. In this case, MFH's don't have rules to abide to except for these:-
1)If peace is possible, get it.
2)Don't give a think of what others view of you are.
3)Keep earth healthy.
The over-termed "hippie" version that has the view of a person running around barefoot, smoking pot, long hair, etc. is a past. MFH are the hippies nowadays. You may not realize them, as they believe that tie-die shirts and extra-flare pants are overrated. They could look totally normal, but for some, they tend to lean to the scene side.
They belive in daily meditation to clear their mind, and yoga is a time of relaxation.
They like to be UNIQUE. They hate being alongside with everyone else and want to start something new for themselves, however not for others to follow.

Modern Hippi

1. A free-spirited dreamer in the pursuit of a life with meaning.

2. An individual unconfined by societal norms, someone who is unable to be put in a box.

3. A multifaceted person who enjoys both nature and abundance, combines the duality of life.

Natasha is so hard to define with all of the different activities she does, she really is a modern hippi.
