Mavropoulos

An obscure accounting term used in relation to a particular type of asset. Gangsta in nature this asset does not depreciate, much like land it actually increases in value. The equity account that the credit goes to on an increase in Mavropoulos is called a unrealised gangsta pool. Often accused of asserting gangsta accountants are a myth.
