MMXXI
(adjective) Pronounced “mixi.” It is an overall attitude inspired by fashion-forward, adventure-seeking Millennials and Gen Z. It comes from the belief that good fashion isn’t just for runways, but for all the time. From online to irl, your aesthetic is more relevant now than ever. Going on hikes isn’t just about having the best gear, it’s about looking good while you do it (for the ‘gram, of course). That aesthetic-but-functional outdoor attitude is MMXXI.
The MMXXI streetwear line is Cape Union Mart’s answer to this aesthetic-driven generation. Gone are the days of mismatched earth tones and ill-fitting (but useful!) outdoor gear.
