Kamakaze, often spelled Kamikaze means "divine wind". It's the name originally given to the mighty Typhoon that destroyed an invading Mongol fleet in the 13th century. In WWII it was also associated with the suicide bombers, which made some people believe that it actually meant "divine death", but it does not.

Get the Kamakaze mug.A challenge when singing karaoke for a party other than the singer/karaokeist, typically the crowd or the DJ, to pick the song. Thus, a metalhead who typically sings metal may have to sing a chick song. Often, karaoke challenges are reciprocal.
Dude, you missed karaoke last night. Big Jim offered to go kamakaze and Big Mike made him sing the Pussycat Dolls. But later, Jim got him back good with the Milkshake Song.
