KOD, also known as Kill your demons is a phrase some say when deciding to start over or to rid yourself of negative energy.
Mostly used by a select few who listen to J. Cole's music, in reference to his latest project KOD, KYD can be used in the same way, however more personally and directed towards an outward person within a conversation.

Person 1: Man I've been feeling down lately
Person 2: Fam, you've got to KYD man and unwind
Person 1: KYD?
Person 2: Kill your demons

Also known as Sydney Bennett, or simply Syd, is a member and producer of the L.A. alternative hip-hop group, Odd Future. A sick DJ, and mad cute, although she probably doesn't realize it.
