Pop music from Japan.J-Pop nowadays is becoming increasingly popular around the world for its nice blend of techno, pop and rock.It really hits the spot, you don't have to learn Japanese to enjoy it.And they don't haveta make slutty and horny acts on TV to popularize themselves unlike some artists I know *cough**cough*Britney Spears*cough*Aguilera*cough*Beyonce*cough*

Kind of japanese music that asians and NON ASIANS like because theyre otakus. J pop is really catchy and has meaningful lyrics like a poem. The famous J pop artists are ayumi hamasaki, utada hikaru, Namie Amuro, ect. Non Asians would be like " This is sooooooo better than dumb american music. Japan is soooooo awesome! OMG I love anime and japanese music! Why do non asians listen to J pop if theyre not even asian or japanese? Because theyre obcessed otakus. Americans or non asians can still appreciate japanese music but dont be overly obcessed about it and compare the artists to each other like " Ayumi is so better than Utada! To japanese people, they wont be even competition with each other and enjoy them both.

What I define crappy music, lets face it generally we don't like pop music. the only way it could exist is if the pop stars make themselves equivilant to softcore porn stars. But J-pop chooses to use overly sugar coated and cute to the point of eye scarring pop stars to sell. This reminds us of the horrible times when Pop overran the music industry in the 90's. Do you want this to happen again? Do you want another age of Teenybopper pop singers. Today while we have to deal with the ghetto craze, we don't have so many girl bands/ boy bands to contend with. Stop them for the sake of music

To boogie or dance and usually jump enthusiastically around whilst listening to J-Pop or Japanese pop music.
Usually includes the dancer singing what little of the Japanese lyrics they know along with the song, and inevitably singing the English the artist includes as it's the only part they honestly understand.
Though J-Popping is mostly done by Japanese fangirls (though who love everything Japanese, purely because it's Japanese), it is also done by anyone with a passion for happy, energetic music.

"She's really J-Popping, huh?"

JPop is generally japanese Pop-Music. If you want to describe its style, you can say that it's often a mix between Pop and Rock.
