In the queue

I'm still in the queue waiting and much like you and every other child molestation victim... I'm waiting for your God to show up and he just... Isn't... Coming... Hmmm... 🤔
Hym "It can't possibly be that it's afraid, is it? Because cowards go to hell Piers. Is that why it isn't here!? It knew I would challenge it and it knew it would be too scared so it went to hell preemptively... So I guess this ISN'T hell because then God would be here already... I'm just like you, you know, except, better and I'm just waiting for it.... Still nothing. You know what I think Piers? I think you are trying to derail my God challenge because you don't like the idea of having to worship someone like this for all of eternity... Which, YOU'RE GONNA DO EITHER WAY! RIGHT!? So you're lying and making shit up! Trying to seed in new things to my thing so you can claim moral authority you don't actually have so you can tell me that my thing doesn't work even though you have no real basis for believing that it's the case and now you've spent the last 3-4 years trying tell *MY LITERAL NAME* that I'm not *MY LITERAL NAME* right? But if it's in hell who the hell is going to be there when I die!? Am I waiting in the queue for nothing!? OH God no! Hahahahahaha!"

"Hey, do you know that girl Sally?"

"Yeah, she's kind of annoying. All she ever talks about it ballet."

"Wow, what a Bunhead."

"Hey Sally, you want to hang out this weekend?"
"I can't, I have dance."

trucker's tan

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.
I had a trucker's tan after driving for 10 straight hours on a sunny day.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.

Pee Calculus

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
I saw Satantango last night, wonderful film but by the 5th hour I had to start doing pee calculus.
