High Heeling

A man and a women are dating, but they have some issues. The man buys the women a pair of high heels, thinking that it would make her happier, but instead she takes the opportunity to then drag her heels all over him, due to her superiority complex being triggered by a false sense of security. This security is her thinking that if she can create an issue, get something from the man, then proceed to take out her anger out on him for him not "being enough", that she can do whatever she pleases to the man and she will never be questioned for her actions. She then starts to try and direct every move he makes.
Women : "Yknow, these heels just aren't that good... they make me wayyy taller than you, and everybody already knows I wear the pants in the relationship anyways"

Man: you aren't even taller than me without them... and why are you being so disrespectful lately?"

Women: "No you're the disrespectful one for getting me a pair of heels that you know I wouldn't like, even after an argument."

Man: Who put you on this high horse?? Matter of fact, I can't keep allowing you to keep High Heeling on me, just because you think I'll always suck up to you."

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
