Grant County Effect

This is a term originally coined by Mr. Carr. It is a term to refer to the general acts of stupidity, hatefulness, and uselessness that seem to plague the county, as well as the high school in particular.

This can also refer to the sometimes violent reaction of native grantonians upon hearing any of the following keywords: school uniforms, lanyards, CATS testing, Wal-Mart, religion, rebel flags, sex, and drugs.
1.) Did you see that kid spinning his tractor out to protest not being able to have a rebel flag lanyard at the school? Man, the Grant County Effect strikes again.
2.) I said that school uniforms might be a good idea and that girl tried to stab me. It must have had the Grant County Effect on her.
