When it's past 12am and you havent slept yet so your unsure if you say good moring or good night.

Friend 1- Do we say good morning or goodnight?

When you slept without saying goodnight and want to make up dor it first thing in the morning when you wake up, but also needed to say goodmorning at the same time.

This word can be used just like "good morning, and goodnight" is used, though it is intended for us nocturnal folk that are always arguing on whether they should say good morning or goodnight after 12am, and before 5am.
