Most likely Fil-Am, used as a gender neutral term despite that Filipino can be used as a gender neutral term. Most likely never visited the Philippines, like at all.

1. A racial slur for Filipinos made by privileged ignorant Americans without trying to learn Filipino culture.
Some white guy: Sup my Filipinx!
Filipino: Hey that’s racist man!
Balik-bayan: We should probably get some Filipinx food around here. Do you have Adohboh?
Filipino Vendor: Who the hell are you referring as Filipinx! Get out of my store!

A shitty term invented by Fil-Ams who have shallow understanding of the Philippines (they only know its foods & beaches but that's about it) and can't even speak any of the native languages of the Philippines.

A term that never use by the locals of the Philippine's or even aware the word filipinx even exist.
It's origin came from the west where bunch of narcicist "saviour complex" Individual decided to themselves the filipinx should be used intentionally and locals.
Which generated a huge backlash in the filipino/pilipino Community how the word filipinx insulted thier culture and identity.

Used as a gender neutral term for Filipino-Americans, not to be confused of the word "Filipino" which is a gender neutral name that refers to native Filipinos.

A Westernise forced ideology gender-neutral term of ''Filipino'' (despite "Filipino" is a gender-neutral word)
The word Filipinx can also be seen as offensive and racist to the some Filipino especially the natives, because of how it's trying to bring birth of a new dialect and imposed their "western ideology" within the Filipino Language/culture.
It can be also mistaken as a Chinese name because of how it pronounce (enx/inx) in the end. and can be seen as being racist to a fellow filipino
Filipinx and Pilipinx definitions are both the same
