quite the controversial tune. it is Metallica's first song off of their self-titled fifth album AKA the black album. Some claim that it is the song with which they sold out, others claim it is their magnum opus, and still others just think of it as another song from the album. it is really up to you. it has some iconic guitar riffs, solid drumming, terrifying (lyrically) vocals, and a fairly epic guitar solo.

Enter Sandman is a song by the American Thrash Metal band "Metallica" released in 1991 . It is the first song form the 5th album called by the community "The Black Album" but the real name is the band's name. The single reached number 16 on the US Billboard Hot 100, and was released 2 weeks as a single before the album came out. The song lasts for 5 minutes and 32 seconds. The community is split on this song, some say its overrated and overplayed. Others say it's a masterpiece and there is no in-between. This is by far the most recognizable song from Metallica.
