Deghettofying- The collective dismantling of all things rigged throughout a particular area to give the illusion it's really not trashy, usually done with the intent of being reassembled and temporary in nature.

Deghettoizing 

Moving up in social status and getting nice expensive merchandise. No longer wearing cheap clothes or using cheap merchandise. (i.e wearing walmart clothes or using a CD player)
