You shouldnt waste your time trying to locate someone by the name of Charles Chaves who hails from Chinese Czechoslovakia because such person does not exist.

One word name for the common state of Czechs and Slovaks, that began its existence in 1918 and ceased to exist with the end of 1992.
Due to its turbulent history, Czechoslovakia experienced many changes of its formal name, but the short Czechoslovakia is a simple and correct term to use.
Todays Czechia is a direct succesor of former Czechoslovakia. Slovakia formally decided to cut the ties with its czechoslovak history as a symbol of newly gained independence. Both countries enjoy mutually brotherly relations.
