chat kill

By definition a "chat kill" is when you stop the chat. Technicalities include:

1 - You have to be the one who posted last.
2 - It must be at least 10 minutes before you "claim the chat kill"
3 - No one can say anything during those 10 minutes for the chat kill to count.

Kill the chat

When you are the last one to say something in a chat room for several minutes, you've killed the chat.

A post in a chatroom, forum, or other means of instant messaging which causes all of those participating in the discussion to quit replying, or cause a significant delay in posts back, comparable to an awkward silence.

Chat killers are a series of pictures that are used to kill a chat on discord or any other online talking chats such as a cow striping on a stripper pole or a naked grinch but rather way they end up stopping the chat and ultimately kill it

chatkill

This phenomenon often takes place in IRC. Some people are very adept at causing it. It happens when people are chatting away happily and someone (often innocently) interjects which shuts everyone else up and kills the chat.

chatkill

(usually in an FPS game) When someone kills you while you were writing something in the chat. Very annoying.

You: "chatkill goddamit"
Me: "So fucking what?!"
